XRP has the potential to push past $2.14 by late November, supported by continuous exchange-traded fund (ETF) demand that is fueling its ongoing recovery.
A 90-day model by CryptoSlate estimates this bullish scenario at the 80th percentile, which sits approximately 59% higher than the $1.35 reference close. Meanwhile, the median projection sits much lower at $1.47, placing the headline goal firmly in the optimistic tail of a broad distribution.
This potential upward trajectory coincides with a more consistent institutional interest in XRP. Figures from SoSoValue indicate that US-based XRP funds have achieved six straight months of net inflows, accumulating about $474 million during that timeframe.
Following a robust recovery in August that yielded gains of roughly 23% to 24% over a 30-day window, the token changed hands near $1.32 to $1.33 on Sept. 2, bringing it close to the model’s baseline reference point.
While this streak of ETF inflows does not turn $2.14 into the most likely outcome, it provides the optimistic scenario with fundamental demand support that goes beyond mere price action.
XRP ETF buying meets a large leveraged short
The model outlines a $1.81 to $2.81 bracket for the $2.14 projection, covering the 70th through 90th percentiles.
The forecasting engine from CryptoSlate produces these boundaries by running 2,000 price simulations via volatility equations, historical data tests, and quantile regression. The approach accounts for both everyday market behavior and extreme price swings, though outcomes can vary if regulatory shifts or entirely new market conditions deviate from past trends.
The median forecast of $1.47 points to a modest 8.9% increase, whereas the pessimistic projection drops to $1.05. Additionally, an extreme stress indicator flags a drop to $0.46, highlighting the significant dispersion that persists despite XRP’s rebound.
Even so, current derivatives positioning could amplify any price movement within this corridor.
The CME reported that its XRP futures offerings averaged 36,600 daily contracts during Q2, totaling $10.8 billion in notional volume. More recent data reveals that leveraged accounts held net short positions matching 115.7 million XRP as open interest on the CME surged by 39.6%.
Although these stakes could function as hedges, continuous ETF demand paired with rising valuations would pile pressure on traders holding directional short positions. Additional upward movement might compel some of these participants to unwind their positions, accelerating the bullish momentum.
Naturally, the opposite scenario applies should the token’s recovery lose steam.
On the regulatory front, conditions have also improved following the decision by the SEC and Ripple to drop their respective appeals in August 2025, bringing closure to the extended litigation while maintaining the $125 million fine and injunction.
At present, the market is weighing competing forces: half a year of continuous ETF accumulation alongside a substantial leveraged short position against a predictive model whose median forecast remains well under the headline bullish objective.
Consequently, the $2.14 threshold remains within reach according to the model, though reaching it will demand that XRP’s current purchasing momentum continues long past its August bounce.
